The selection of Trains' articles

I found the posting (and response) regarding how one gets to publish an article in Trains very interesting. However, I am much more content being enriched by those who know more about railroading than I than proving to others via my writing that they know more than I.
Is there anyway to express what type articles I (and my friends) find most interesting--to allow my self better to be enriched by those in the know?
I realize Trains can't be everything to everyone, but it seems as though I haven't seen a lot of ways people can weigh in regarding what railroads/types of railroading they find most interesting. I also think it would be interesting to see the response to such polls and find out whether my preferences are representative or are an anomoly.
I remember a survey being sent to me by Trains (which I filled out), but it didn't really seem to give me that much direction in being able to express some of my preferences.
That having been said, I am very happy with the articles I do get.

This forum is probably the best poll you could ever have.
I notice the ratio of posts to views on any thread is a minimum of ten to one, ten for views, which I wish were actually the other way around.
I have to say Trains magazine is wonderfully balanced. In the magazine and in here, I get it straight from the horse's mouth information, and while I am usually interested in technical aspects of trains, I have realized how much I have to learn from so many other areas of railroading and genuinely look foreward to it every month.

Is CN this forum's proverbial "Jason?" See Mark's response above.
