Touch and go here weather wise....Frozen precip coming down, not sure what it should be called. Our concern is keeping the power on. So far, so good......Latest indicates this will become snow about 2 am, and we think that is less of the two evils.

If our power structure can survive the night......and we're just getting snow tomorrow...{3 to 5"}, or so, and the snow doesn't bring down a limb at a critical location of a power line....{lots of if's}, maybe we'll hang in there.

This area was certainly cleared of many, many trees / limbs with the ice storm of 2005, and then Asplundt worked in this area for 6 mo. to deal with all that damage....That cleared much of the limbs that were above power lines then, but now....that's been 6 yrs. ago and more growth certainly has {by now}, taken it's place....At least some of it.
Hi Quentin:

I have WBBM radio from Chicago streaming on the computer, and the weather there is horrible.

Here is South Central Texas its bitter cold. The temp is currently at 25 and dropping. Expecting to be in the mid teens by morning. Thats pretty cold for this part of the state.

We may even have snow ourselves by weeks end here.

Be careful up there!
