Manual car movement

Is there any such thing as a device that can be used to spot a car using manual force? Maybe a long bar with some type of wedge to fit between a wheel and the rail?

Another odd tool, I have heard about brooms for cleaning switches that have some kind of scraper on the end of the handle?

This is a chisel blade formed from flat steel. Very useful for clearing the switch points of the snow that you packed in when you tried to throw the switch without sweeping it first.
