I'm fairly new to the forums,and I was wondering what the different colored stars are next to most of the forum members names.thanx!!!! From Beano Country. choochin3 Out.

50 posts is 1 purple star, 100 is 2 blue, 500 is 3 green 1000 is 4 yellow, and 2000 is 5 red. Been there done that. the goal here is to have fun.[:)]

You're welcome. If you use the quick reply form at the bottom of the page in every topic, on the left it says "show smile list". Click on that then click on as many smiles as you want. If you use the quote button in the upper right corner of every post the form looks a little different. There is a small group of smiles handy, or you can click and get the full list.

One thing about the quick reply, the smiles always go to the end of the text, so if you want them in the middle of the text, you need to insert them as you go.On the quote they go in where the cursor is. Play around with a blank form, and use the preview reply button to see the results without posting.

Absolutely, but if you like trains, just have fun, and the information will come naturally when you read and ask questions. I've been doing trains, modeling and railfanning for over 30 years, and I learn new things here every day. [8D]
