This so-called strike happened when StandAlone wanted to buy the BBE while merging with APRC and keep the profits. Many of the workers didn't like this idea and protested until a solution was seltled. This strike didn't last long because it took place at Wiltwyck Yard. So most of the fussing happend at the StandAlone Tower. 250 trains were affected by this strike and had no choice but to store trains on the siding but this caused trains to backup as far as Hornberry. after the strike was over, as many as 200 trains poured into Wiltwyck Yard like bees in the beehive.
