[/quote] Exactly my point, with just a few modifications, a 710G would drop right into the carbody of a SD40-2, just like a 645 will fit in the place of a 567. SD70-2 the preformance and engine of a new locomotive, in a proven and known-to-be reliable locomotive the SD40-2.
