Having worked fairly recently for a local tourist train which operated over a shortline's trackage, I was careful not to reveal what a foamer I was. When I would ask questions of the railroaders, I would make sure I would listen!! So many foamers out there think they know more about railroads than railroaders do and try to show up the railroaders. This is why so many railroaders have a disdain for railfans.
