Why not simply call BNSF Santa Fe Northern? This was mentioned in an old Trains article (sorry, I don't remember which issue). It also said the SFN name wouldn't work because it made sense. At least it would have been easier to say than the mouthfull that Burlington Northern Santa Fe is.
