What a day!!
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, June 21, 2004 4:33 PM
I got a call this morning to schedule an interview with CP tommorrow. I was quite happy to make the interview cut. There were about 24 people at the testing session. I figure they probably call 50% for an interview. They were looking to hire 6 Conductors. Then I check my email and lo and behold there is a Conductor Trainee conditional offer of employment for BNSF. I took the test with 36 people and they said they were looking for 7 people. I am so very happy!! Now watch me get a job offer at CP as well. That would be funny. I wonder how much my military helped me. I was an engineer in the Navy from 96-00. Good times ahead for sure [:)]

Well, I wouldn't decide based on the logo...

Start by trying to figure out where you'll be working for each and how mch work there is in that terminal. Also pay rates and Collective Bargaining Agreements would be good to know. Talk to current employees if possible.
