Adrian and others [8D]

In a recent mailing (you know THOSE sweepstakes and magazines offers) I found the following item for sale.

ULTRA TAPE

"This is one tape that can really take the heat . . . and moisture . . . and the rust . . . and the pressure!" The ad claims this tape won't crack, melt or unstick and is perfect for virtually any repair. It shows it being used to repair a garden hose and the indoor plumming.

Now if you only had THIS tape when you helped the lady you would not had to change her tire. ( ads don't lie, right?) [;)] [8D]

Oh and the price . . . only $11.96 for a ten foot roll. Two rolls for only $17.94, price does not include shipping. May I take your order? [;)] [8D] [:D]

I ran into her again, and it is clear that nothing is going on upstairs.

Hi, Howdy, Hey [:D]

Hello Adrian and others [:)] [8D] [;)]

You all get the "Cheaper Than Dirt" Catalogs, don't you? [;)]

If you do then check out the July catalog ( # 607) and turn to page 39. The top row and the 3rd item over to the right, yeah, thats it, you can't miss it.

For those of you who don't have one of these catalogs the item is "Military Duct Tape". I quote from the ad, "Heavy Duty, 100 miles per hour extra strong duct tape. THOUSANDS of uses, 2" X 180" roll."

AND GUESS WHAT? [;)]

IT COMES IN BLACK . . . haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa [:D]

It also comes in OD Green [;)]

Soooooooo Adrian, if you get her a roll of black, she can "fix" her own tire next time. hahahahahahahahaha [8D] [:D] [;)]

And the item next to the Military Duct Tape is GI Body Veil (for concealing people or things). After you give her the tape then you can "hide" from her. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa [:D] [:D] [:D]

<Jim is on a "ROLL" today hahahahaha, "Ha I Kill Me" , said Jim doing his best Alf-like voice.> [:D] [;)] [:D]

Oh man, I "didn't see" the item below the Military Tape. Oh now I "see" why. [;)]

It is "Camouflage Duct Tape" in the traditional 4 color "green". AND the ad says, " . . . great to apply to boats or blinds where permanent application is intended, 20 yard roll." The price is only $3.33 a roll.

I would take your order but I am using the camo tape to keep my GI Body Veil on and "You can't see me." hahahahaha [;)]

<Jim is still on a ROLL, hahahahahaha.>

I agree with mook, southern, er...midwestern hospitality, we always will get the job done, well....most of the time. One time I was in Texas during my short stint on the BNSF, I was driving home in a bad thunderstorm and my tire went flat when I hit a piece of metal in the roadway, I limped it up to the first service station that I came too and I was soo tired I didn't want to change it, I went into the station where about 3 hispanic males and a couple other ethnic people were shooting the breeze. I waved a 20 dollar bill in the air and said, "THE FIRST PERSON THAT WILL CHANGE MY FLAT TIRE CAN HAVE THIS 20 BUCKS!". They all looked at me with a blank stare, they must have not understood english or thought that was a weak price for a mid-severe storm tire change. Anyways, I ended up dragging my poor tired rear end out there and changing it myself and going the rest of the way home.

A similar subject dear to my hart - JB Weld!!!!!

When I was too young to know any better, I guy I was helping took an aluminum cylinder head that had been deeply pitted from a coolant leak and smeared JB Weld all over it and then told me to take it to the machine shop and have it fly cut and it was still wet !!!! All those guys at the machine shop could not stop laughing !!!!!, I never heard the end of it.
