When the WC/Oxford units were running, there was an engine in that group numbered 4001, so to avoid confusion they renumbered the 2 WC engines from 4001 and 4003 to 4012-4013. The original group of WC GP38's(ex-MoPac rebuilt GP35's) were numbered 4001-4011.
