Is this narrow right of way common?

<P mce_keep="true">Oh that's nothing! You should've seen the old SOO, later Wisconsin Central main through Oshkosh, Wisconsin before WC took over the Fox River Valley. Over by Mable Murphy's Bar, it almost looked like WC trains were running down a sidewalk! One of the great advantages the WC gained by acquiring the FRV was to use their ex-CNW trackage through the east side of Oshkosh to avoid having to run 10 MPH through the downtown area.</P>
