It's not uncommon that the nextdoor neighbor is rumaging through our cubbords looking for the sugar, because he's half a cup short.

If you were up in Canada, you'd understand. Were jsut not the break in/ violent kind of people.

And i personaly don't understand why michael moore, would set out to make Canada look good in his documentary, If he is form the USA?
[/quote]

Hey Kevin,

I live "way out in the country", just outside a small village. Pop. of about 2000 people spread out over 40 sq. miles. AND my house has been broken into twice!! By the same guy, and the second time he "violently" kicked the door off the frame. It can happen anywhere, country or city, Canada or USA. The only time my door is not locked is when I'm walking through it. If we go out, the alarm goes on and the door is locked. Staying home for the evening?, door is locked and intrusion setting is turned on. If nothing else it will slow down the next idiot who trys while I choose one of the 18 or so firearms I own and use it to protect my family.

Both times nobody was home and the break in happened in the middle of the afternoon.

The offender was a 14 year old male who lives just "up the road". He got caught and received 6 months probation and 60 hours of community service.

Anyway man, it can happen anywhere,

Stay Safe

Jeff
