If you notice the UP and BNSF is putting a new track at the junction. Does anyone knows the status? I heard they were having problems who's paying the bill..

Hey, Awesome, welcome to the ongoing discussion of this work here.
Apparently just a new diamond, for now.

The status of the Colton Crossing project should be updated here periodically. Due to the large impact on the surrounding area, the gov't is mediating the preferred solution before sinking the large amount of taxpayer $$$ into it.

Wow I was there in late July & if your video was current then they have made no progress since that visit. I reported what you took video of in the double tracking Sunset route thread when I returned from that trip in July
