C&NW real plans to buy some SD80MAC. The order was canceled or, more possible, never placed. <br /> <br />Possible that UP´s control over C&NW was the reason. The UP doesn´t like 20 cylinder engines since the SD45 problems. Possible it was a financial problem. <br /> <br />So the only AC´s that C&NW owned was a fleet of 35 GE AC4400 numbered 8801 - 8835.
