Sales taxes this year have not met expectations anywhere. In Texas, and in Dallas, for example, there is talk of tax and fee increases to make up the lost sales tax revenues. Another trick is to increase the value of your property, thereby increasing your property tax even though it is not being increased. Yet, they want to increase the property tax too. <br /> <br />One only has to look at Mexico for example to see how many roads can have tolls, and not just necessarily, multi-lane controlled access turnpikes.
