I grew up in the northeast (New Jersey), and I have this observation regarding grits.If you should ever find yourself having breakfast with a person from the south, here's a way you can have a lot of fun with them:Eat a bowl of grits just like you are having a bowl of Cream of Wheat (milk, sugar, and a pat of butter)...and watch their reaction. Its great fun!
