Wisser, The UP has a pretty aggressive capital spending plan that will add double track to the Sunset each year for the foreseeable future. This is largely bolstered by the growth in intermodal on this route. Intermodal (TOFF &COFC) Trains in the lanes below run this route: Laredo to LA / Stockton / Portland / Seattle San Antonio to same Dallas to same Memphis to same Chicago to LA (some trains) Others go via Salt Lake KC to LA
