Well yes, and in that respect, it would be better to increase poportionately the weight/mile tax, which would then keep lightweight loads (like ag- think hay) proifitable for smaller truckers & farmers, and also keep express shipments out on the road, but would discourage using triple (and potentially longer) trailer combos for heavy freight. <br /> <br />Course to do this one also has to provide for service to areas currently served only by truck, which may mean re laying track on abandoned grades... <br /> <br />Oops! Off topic again! Back to the sleeper car, er TGV lounge car! <br /> <br />(Know what I hate about Talgo and about TGV too? No observation car. Ok, elitest, isn't it? But still....
