Don, <br /> <br />I could take this in two directions. Why are some rail lines funded by the federal government while others are not? -Or- Why can't Amtrak devolve into a regional system (similar, I may add to the break up of Bell telephone). <br /> <br />I agree that it is time for a change. It is time for Amtrak to operate the way your DFW rail company runs, not the other way around. - Ed
