Anyways, back to topic, that was $1.585 Billion Net Income, meaning it was after paying all the bills, taxes (yes corporations have taxes they have to pay), Dividends, contruction and aaquisitions. that is their personal take homepay (in terms the average person can understand) that is what is in their bank at the end of the year. Now they may take that and use it the next year to offset losses or to further construction... Democrates believe in a trickle up system, republican's believe in a trickle down. Jay
