[/quote]I think there is a general feeling that this thread is proving a point, but I doubt that the point it is proving to the moderators is the same point it is proving to the ones making the fun-loving posts.  Neither point is the one I was making when in the past I objected to locking threads.  Others who made similar objections might feel the same way.
