the utu vs the ble

i have not been keeping count on the recent fight the utu is giving the ble. i do know that the judge impounded the ballots why i dont know. i voted against the merger as a ble member i did not want to as well as others be resposible for the law suits the utu has against them or the 5 mil in outstanding debt they have due to borring from the pensions. the utu sold out the trainmen there jobs and now they comming after the ble. if all trainmen must become engineers then where are they going to get the dues to pay the fatcats the utu relized they have no income anymore. in otherwords go after the ble.the utu does not have any equity the ble owns its corprate office. if the engineers that are in the utu union yet and not the ble. think of this... when you get your pay check thank a ble member for that check its the ble who has the contracts not the utu. conducts working on nothing with a 5% increase for no contract. ble 24% increase. already.

It is time for all T&E crewmembers to come together under one union to cease allowing management to divide and conquer, and play one union off against the other. I was going to vote against the merger because of the fat goldent parachutes that the officers were going to get, but I was convinced that buying them off is worth it in the long-run to gain the bargaining power of one voice.
