Dry, but hot and humid....Hit 90.9 on my instrument a while ago.

Flooding {must have been massive rain north east of us overnight}....Highest water we've seen here in Muncie for some years. River out of channel and well up on the flood plane. All of our public park and several ball diamonds here at Yorktown are totally under water. Road from here over to old part of Yorktown looks like a causeway.

Lots of damage in our state during these passing storms producing tornados this past week. I must say we have been lucky here. My rain gauge had 2.5" of rainfall for previous 36 hrs. I know much more than that fell northeast of us to make our White River overflow as it is right now....Watch out Walt.

[/quote]

Its been hot, windy and very dry down here in South Texas. Its almost a repeat of 2 years ago when we got next to no rain.

You guys in the upper midwest sure have been taking a pounding.

Be careful up there...and be sure to keep your weather radio on and in the alert mode!!!!!
