Well, you never know. It could have been secrety stored without anyone knowing and fake records of it being scrapped made up.

There are actually theories in Britain of such things happening. Many British railfans believe that the British government has a secret strategic reserve of steam locomotives hidden away somewhere that they don't want anyone to find out about. Many think that records of the scrapping of engines were faked, but also (and this point is a fact), the number of British steam locomotives that are currently preserved and records of those scrapped doesn't add up to the number of steam engines that British Railways actually owned.

Perhaps the US government has a secret supply of J's hidden away somewhere. The CIA could be involved in this too. Oops...perhaps I said too much. It's a conspiracy...
