Yahoo headline just posted- with rising diesel costs, truckers see the end of the road

<p>There are calls for the government to provide a "tax holiday" by suspending the gas tax for the summer. Some say it won't be enough of a break to matter. Others say it will end the supply of revenue needed to maintain and build roads. And still others agree with the provision of a "tax holiday," but they want the oil companies to pay for it. How is that for a brainteaser? It seems to me that if the oil companies pay for it, it is not a tax holiday. It's an oil profit holiday. </p><p>What if the oil companies raise gas prices to pay for the tax holiday that they had to pay for? What kind of a holiday would that be? </p>
