in the may 2002 issue of railpace magazine on page 42, they mention that CSX is using "imron dark blue" and "deluxe gold" for the new paint scheme. they also have some information on the repaints on page 9. i don't know if those paints are the same they used for bright future-2. <br /> <br />sure, i liked the birhgt future-2 scheme. but personally i think the scheme looks rather nice. of course i would rather not see every locomotive in the east painted in one solid color, but i like it because it is very similar to B&O's and C&O's old paint scheme. plus i think they have to represent the fact that they now have half of Conrail as part of them. who knows, maybe buying a blue railroad was one factor in deciding to go all-blue.
