To anyone who knows about Rochelle, Illinois, home of the webcam on the Trains website, what is that flat, large building in about the center of the image, above the diamond? It looks like a factory or warehouse to me.

When I first visited Rochelle there were freight cars at the docks. At the time I was under the impression that it was a Carnation Foods warehouse but that is not definitive info. Whether it is in use now or not I do not know. I think the siding is still in place but with the new Park I no longer railfan on that side of the crossing (the "old" location to railfan was nearer the diamond, with picnic tables, garbage cans, a parking area and planted flowers -- at the time it seemed like railfan heaven).
There is quite a bit of railfan interest in Rochelle beyond the Park and the diamond such as two depots, a large BNSF yard to the south and east, a huge agriculture complex to the south and east, a short line to the north, Stewart Jct to the south, and of course Global III.

I do not believe that the building is used. I usually go there three times a year and I have never seen any vehicles parked at the warehouse. I am still unsure who owns it.

I said Carnation in my first post but now I wonder if it was/is Del Monte?

Last I heard that building was a Del Monte facility.
