Tom The problems with AMTRAK are not my fault or doing. It is an organization over bureaucratized and regulated, that is why it loses so much money. This service will benefit the US tourist and not cost our Country anything. Also as little as most people know unless we undertake projects to provide some economic development in Mexico and Latin America, our very National Security will be at great risk. In the future I anticipate you will see smaller more effeciently managed passenger trains running once again in the USA. The service needs to be competative and profitable.
