Was the 80MAC in CSX or Conrail colors? How many of the stored units are Conrail? Have you noticed what type of units are stored at the Waycross Recyclers facility by the yard lately? It has been about 6 months since I've been to Waycross.
The 80 was in the new CSX scheme. Of the stored units I saw about 3 or four were x-CR, none were in blue. The recycling facility is actually to different businesses. The back half, nearest to the main, is the scrap yard for Waycross Recyling. The front half if Locomotive Specialists Inc. Most recent pics of Waycross I have seen show half-a-dozen CP SD40-2s, and a variety of dash-7s of various heritages, most of which have been there a while. Next time you stop by time some time to run up to the Progress Rail facility just north of Patterson, GA on US 84. Its right off the highway. They are refurbishing and repainting IC GP38-2s into the CN scheme. I also saw a triple-genset that was built using a GP38/40.
