How did the park affect Rochelle?

I'm doing some research for my park plan for Brunswick, and I was wondering if anyone had some stats from how the park in Rochelle Ill. improved the town, so I can use it to convince Brunswick to at least look into the park, and to show that it will eventually pay for itself. Any info will help!

The man who thought of the park in Rochelle was not (at least initially) a railfan. He had the city's interests in mind. I'm sure, in his position, he could give you the facts and figures you are looking for (and I don't see how they could be anything but positive):
