Hey Jim I seen some old Frisco cars In tyler today still in good shape
headed toward Ft worth thought It was kinda cool and rare seein them cars
but the still heve SLSF markings on them Ill keep you posted On the frisco stuff
I like to see just one more time The frisco steam train seen it back in 1996
had some nice light blue pass cars and plenty of guards 6 on every car
guess some one was on there they were kinda friendly till Breeze
got closer then they kinda looked like they wanted to start shootin
but at least i got some good shots Of UP 3985

whats your opinion Color photos or the new black & white for an old steam loco
I was think about getting one whole roll of b&w prints just for the fun of it
think that would be good [8D][8D][8D]

Yes every now and then you do see a Frisco boxcar. I am kinda surprised when I do seeing that BN was sure quick to wipe out just about everything else that said Frisco as fast as they could. But I better not go there or the soap box will come out.

still on it and some MP MKT gondolas but any boxcar is brown with white #s
& letters ocasionally i see A MP box with the screamin Eagle but not often[8D]

Yes, my dad says he was on a gang that helped put the engine in the park.

I know it well. At least it now has a roof over it. For many years it didn't. I would love to see that one back in steam. It is a good size 4 8 4. Frisco liked Baldwin, so guess who made that one.

I saw a Frisco box back a few months ago, and did a double take. But what really made me jump, was an old Lehigh Valley gon in the same train. [:D][:D][:D]

In Parsons, KS, home of the Katy RR, there are some old old MP ballast hoppers. They don't move much. They're kinda green and have the MP eagle logo still on them. But suprisingly I haven't seen any M-K-T logos on the ol' Katy line. Frisco also once went through there but I don't think I've seen any Frisco logos on anything.
