How do I?
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, January 24, 2004 10:02 AM
How do I get members to visit my forum more often and actually post? If anyone who joined has any advice, please inform me. It was busy the first few days I advertised it, but now not many people visit. I would like to thank Don (Barbarosa) for being the most active person on the forum[;)][8D]!

For those of you who havn't heard of it, its brrm.net/forum

Hey I live in Brunswick too!! I'll visit your forum. You may have some valuable info that I need about the B&O in the 1920's. [:D]

Sorry. I just checked your site and could not find out where you are. I may be interested in your site but from what I saw i couldn't define what your museum was about.

Again, more info could make me more interested.

Will be looking for more input.

Regards, Jerry

We have a group of "chatters" on msn messenger chat who are regulars. It is kinda a close "family". Yet others will not even come to chat. Some forums members won't even email other forums members. I get lots of emails. I enjoy these emails. But I would still welcome more emails and more chaters to our msn messenger chat.

Some people are very open like myself. Yet others are very closed. I don't understand why so. Tonight I shared an idea in chat that helped someone with what they were doing. If you won't talk to people, email or chat with them you can be missing out on something that might help you. Not to memtion having a new friendship, email friend, railfanning friend, new model ideas, or whatever.

Why some people are so closed I just don't understand. If you get an answer to that one let me know.

I will try and stop by your chat on Sunday afternoon after church. Until then, God Bless You All.

Here's the concept...

...the throttle goes forward..more gas goes in..engine makes more noise...plane goes faster....

...throttle back...less fuel goes in ...engines make less noise...plane goes slower....

throttle back a bit......if everyday you see a post " visit my site"...... "my site is cool"..... "how can I get you to visit" ....you're gonna turn folks off......

I've taken a look..so have a lot of people...

But you try harder than PBS during fundraising season.....

so throttle back...pu***he nose over and trade some altitude for airspeed..gravity does the rest...

you want to make sure no one visits....keep bugging 'em...
