Then- *boing*- the track kinks suddenly under the moving train?[/quote]</p><p>The engineer might see it but not in time to stop short; sight distances are often much shorter than stopping distances.</p><p>The sun kink may not occur until the track is dynamically loaded, i.e., under the train.</p><p>S.
