Why should he e-mail you. What is he to gain.He paid his dues and does not have to prove any thing to any one. There was alot of drug and booze in the 70's and 80's. I know I seen alot of it and alot of use took are fellow workers home to cover it up. And again if it was not him it would of be some one else.
