On my last couple of trips I saw some decent stuff. On 10/30/05 I went up to Iona Island and saw three trains. The first was Q254 with a CSX SD70MAC leading a UP SD70M
http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=123719
I changed locations and set up for another southbound. After a short wait Q403 led by a dark future SD50 and a very faded Warbonnet B40-8W rolled south.
http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=123720
I again relocated hoping for some northbounds to come through. No northbounds went by while the sun was still up but Across the river two FL9s in New Haven paint led a disabled MNCR trainset south to Croten Harmon.
http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=123822
So that was a decent day.
The next time I had a chance to get out was 11/11/05. I went down to CP5 on the River Line and the first train I saw was Q108 led by two AC4400s the second unit was CSXT 454 "The Spirit of Magnolia"
http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=125046
The clouds rolled in and the good lighting went away. Q271 came through with a standard cab C40-8 and a couple of lease units but the picture wasn't that good. I'll be heading out tommorow so hopefully I'll get some more shots in decent light.
