While on the way to work today I saw two NS engines. The first one had a number something like 2322, or 2232. I was driving on I-40 which goes over the railyard so I didn't have much time to see it. [:(]

After getting off the interstate I was on 6th Street in Little Rock. (There was a story in Trains several years ago about the Rock Island and 6th Street and about one of the railroaders being killed near the 6th Street area.) As I passed under one of the old Rock Island rail overpasses there were 2 Wisconsin Central boxcars setting there (still there tonight on the way home too) but I could only get one number and it was 26553.

And also on the way home I saw a UP engine, number 6286 being the pusher on a loaded coal train.

And I wasn't even railfanning, just going to and from work.
