Since they don't have an engine themselves they will not produce an engine noise. <br />[/quote]ACTUALLY some do have engines like BNSF ex ATSF & ex BN ther just like <br />regular locos but without cabs and controls like E or F 7-9's B units allthough some like CSX ,CR, & some older UP & SP are just traction motors or road slugs <br />UP KCS MP & CR had yard slugs KCS & UP still use them in hump yards
