They painted the locomotives up for Maersk because of a partnership between the railroads and the shipping company. They were used at a grand opening of a new terminal. The NS locomotive is a SD-40-2 and the BNSF was a SDF-40-2. In the early 90's Santa Fe painted a GP-60M up for a one day photo shoot. NS has a GP-59 with the name Transcear painted on the side. The Sept/Oct 2002 issue of Diesel Era had a real nice article on the Maersk units.
