Retired educator and "railhead". Grew up in Pittsburgh, PA around railroads (Pennsy and B&O) and trains during the transition from steam to diesel-electrics. Trains are in my blood; results are rapid heartbeats and breathing. Worked for SP in the SF/Bay Area during the 80's as a tower operator; then returned to college and a teaching career. Am returning after a (too)long hiatus from our hobby (HO).
