Brian, his wife, Marge, and Australian terrier, Rowdy live in suburban Maryland between DC and Baltimore. Brian is over educated with a BS/MS and spent many years in the lab doing biomedical research before starting his own landscape design/build business, alternative terrain ( www.alternativeterrain.com ). Brian started playing with HO trains since he was 8 before selling them off and breaking out into the garden with large scale trains 3 years ago. He is the President of the Washington, Virginia and Maryland Garden Railway Society ( www.wvmgrs.org ) for the year 2008.
