I used the SuperCal system http://www.supercaldecals.com , to make the decals for lettering and numbering my private leasing units. Dan
Could there be a shortcut added for showing "new posts since last visit" ? This would save me a few steps, currently I'm going to "Posts you have not read" and then selecting "new posts since last visit" instead of the default "show all". Dan p.s. as an afterthought, is there a way to mark all posts as having been read?
OK, I figured it out. You chick on "Posts you have not read" in the "Shortcuts" column and then select "newer then 1 day" in the righthand box. I tried selecting "new since your last visit" but it showed the same number of posts as the "show all" selection. Dan
I see that, but it only shows the last 10 active topics. Seeing that I usually visit this site only once a day, what about the last 24 hours worth? Dan
New look, I see. Now, where is the "New Posts" search option? It was in the old forum but I haven't been able to find it in this one yet. Dan
The first RR built into Spring Valley was the Southern Minnesota RR in Oct. 1870. This RR eventually became part of the Milwaukee Road. There is an excellent book about RR's in this part of Minnesota by John C. Luecke titled "Dreams, Disasters, and Demise: The Milwaukee Road in Minnesota". The only narrow-gauge logging RR in Minnesota that I know of was the "Gull Lake & Northern" located in the Brainerd area. (as-per Frank King's book) Dan
Mike, To be honest, you would be further ahead, in both time & money, if you just got a Life-Like Proto-2000 BL2 and retired the AHM one to the scrap pile. Dan
Dub, When it comes to engine or train numbers, there really is no "preferred" way. You can say it anyway you please. Personally I would say "twenty-twentysix" for 2026. For #345 I would say "three-fortyfive"...etc. Dan
Hammer, The parts diagram for the Bachmann Spectrum GP30, that I have (Item No. 82049, Undec) does not show a separate part number for the handrails. It appears to packaged with the body shell (item No. 6020). Dan
Hammer, If what you need is for a phase 1 GP30, the item number for the handrail package is 584034. But if you need the handrail package for the phase 2, it is 584226. EDIT: Hammer I screwed up.. These part numbers are for the Life-Like P2K GP30's. which should probably work for the Bachmann GP30. Dan
