Evening all... Have stayed home the last two days recovering from what I think was the flu, feeling better now, should be headed out tomorrow. Took a walk outside today and was feeling much better afterward. Will take a to-go plate, and stay out of here till I'm feeling better, see everyone later....
Mornin' gang..... Trainfest was good yesterday, if a bit crowded, the nice weather brought everyone out. Bought some more books and tools, plus now have added WC 6650 and 6654 to my roster. May just wind up ordering the last Athern Genesis unit offered, WC 6651, online, but no big deal. I do know that during my Christmas vacation, I will have to get the layout up to operating status, the two I bought have DCC and sound already installed. If CW didn't beat me to the kitchen again, will try

Got a craving for chili tonite, if you need any dinner suggestions, CW.
Randy, I think I can handle that. Do you like you chili w/spaghetti, wagon wheel macaroni, elbow mac, with or without beans? Mild, medium or hot?
Beans, and medium strength. About the afghan, my sister does a lot of crocheting, she is now working on a baby blanket for a friend. At the rate she is going, she should have it finished by the
Barry, she has done some large enough to use on a twin bed, those usually take a little longer than the baby blanket she's working on now..... Other sister just called, guess we are going shopping for christmas presents later, as well as more stuff for the apartment. Hopefully will be able to get some more things moved into this apartment from my parents later as well.
Anyone here? Anyway, got back to the house yesterday about 3, was nice relaxing evening. Now, if I could just not wake up at 4am, I'll be happy..... Seeing as I'm up, will start up a country breakfast, eggs any way you want them, bacon, sausage, griddle is fired up for pancakes and home fries (Lee Hi style). Also have juice, toast and milk ready for all. Trainfest is in Milwaukee this weekend, my dad and I are going later today, should be a good time, see if I can't find some more Wisconsin
Larry: I think New York is trying to get something together to require trucking companies who operate in the state to install "truck specific" GPS in all the trucks that run in the state, to reduce the number of bridge hits and wedged trucks. We have a database of directions to get to customers in our Qualcomm system, but they are only as good as the guy putting them in. Example: One might have 'at third light, turn left. What they forget to tell you is that after the directions were
Evening everyone..... Ah, Mudchicken, don't forget, I am one of those "dumb truckers" you mention, apologies (and donations) will be accepted...... Speaking of truckers, a reporter did a story over the weekend focusing on what truckers think of the four-wheelers, was interesting. I did not know it was possible for a woman to shave her legs while driving a car (Just when you thought you heard everything....) Well, dinner, then bed, then wake up and do it over again.....
Evening all..... Busy week again, will have logged another 3300 or so miles this week, after delivering in York, PA, tomorrow morning. Am now at Carlisle, PA, taking a break, will probably get rolling about 6am EST to make the 8am appointment. Johnny, got the pictures, there definately was not much left of the car (and looks like the second Mack will need a new hood and bulldog). Any word on the occupants of said car? Ahh, comfort food for dinner, I like it, will hopefully be home this Friday night
Evening all...... Johnny, look in your private messages, sent you my e-mail addy, Walt and Paula have it as well if you can't find it there. Have to be patient when asking for a reply, as sometimes I can't find internet service, or am too tired to check for a few days, such is the life of a truck driver..... Sleep cycle is all messed up right now, due to a 5am EDT appointment yesterday in Warsaw, IN, and then a 3am CDT appointment in Chicago this morning, slept half the morning next to the
Well, was going to talk to everyone from Hartford, CT, yesterday, but Mr Dispatcher said I had to be in Portland, ME, by this morning, so that put the kibash on that. Got all the way to Kanona, NY, headed for Warsaw, IN, with seven smallish rolls of paper. They may be small, but they weigh 43,000lb. Larry, I thought there were only two seasons in the northern climes: Winter, and road construction. MC, you can keep all the snow, unfortunately, all the crazy drivers have already been let loose all
