Hey Laz, Not positve (or negative) but when at work when measuring current one puts the meter "in line" or "in series" with the load. Remember one is measuring the current being drawn "through" the line by the load. Hope this helps at least a bit. Well I posted this and then saw that about 3 others posted in the time I was typing and too late to delete. Sorry to repeat what has allready been stated above!
Dennis, My sincere condolences to you and your family. May your Mother Rest In Peace. Ken
Prayers to your Mom along with you and your family Dennis. Have a safe trip and I hope all goes well. Happy Birthday Brutus!
Dennis...realy looking forward to the movie announcement. You guys just keep outdoing yourselves so no doubt that this will also will be something very special! AND you get to hear Mike speak to boot! Sorry to hear about everyone's health and family issues. Seems that the old saying "when it rains it pours" has some merit with you folks here. I know I don't post much but with all that I have been through health wise I can relate to what many of you are dealing with along with the
I suspect that Rick's concern about somebody getting in trouble is most likely the fact that I am sure management would have some issues with letting some guy that they picked up off the side of the track driving their multi-million dollars worth of equipment, say nothing of the possible insurance fallout!

My son was helping me some wiring this weekend and needed to disconnect one of our FasTrack Remote switches and in doing so, lost the green/red indicator that goes on top of the light. Does anyone have an extra (I have no idea why some one would but figured I'd ask!) or know a parts dealer besides Lionel that will sell me one without raking me over the coals for shipping and handling? Many thanks in advance. Ken
Here is the link that you provided me a ways back. Good to be able to repay the favor. Scroll down a bit and you will find you item. http://token3rail.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
That would be fine, but the switch wired into position #2 will not work either. Guess it is time for an email to Lionel.....just great...talk about a fine way to turn a TMCC rookie of ones product. Lets sell him something that does not work like advertised! Hmm although I guess they never claimed that the SC-1 would work with Fastrack. Beginning to wish I had never gotten back into this hobby!
Thanks Rob! I was kind of hopeing you would chime in! Thanks Buckeye. As a newbie, I have not been around long enough to have read all the older posts therefore when I saw that the SC-1 could control both a couple of accesories and the couple of switches that I wish to controll, I thought it was a win-win situation. I even posted on this forum asking if there was any differances. Nothing was brought to my attention. Add to that the fact that the SC-1 was about half the price as a SC-2 and my train
