brianel the marx car is a log dump car and the contact shoe actually touches the lionel uncoupler magnet!
hi bob,no that is the manual marx log dump.i have that one also but it is broken.the marx log dump i am useing is auto and the contact shoe is offset.
i'm starting to check my remote tracks and have all lionel, got it all hooked up,it uncouples fine. but when i run my marx log unloader over it, the power is constant.are marx automatic cars compatible with lionel or do i have it hooked up wrong.i have tried every combination on the transformer.thanx for any help,john

Hey everyone,i made an inquiry at lionel.com to purchase replacement parts.I recieved an email from ken at "lionel.com" telling me how to order said parts.Consequently my computer is saying that it is a unsafe website and may be phishing!Could someone else try adding something to shopping cart and then go to check out to see if they get the same certificate errors.I thought everyone should know about this!John
hey w scout,that's just it i have too much power and the button doesnt work,just for uncoupling.When i run the marx car over it,it just goes crazy.Dont have a lionel action car and i took it apart and cleaned it! John
I absolutely did not say they were running a scam!! I just wanted someone else to check it out to see if there was a problem.I just didnt know if i was on the real lionel website! I did contact them and they tried to reasure me on this.Thanx for the FYI, but how are we supposed to know what is real on the internet these days.FYI to you, it is better to be safe than sorry!! I have had alot of credit card fraud and dont need anymore!
I have several lionel uncoupler tracks and can't find a wiring diagram.Can anyone give me a clue on wiring these up?thanx
