If anyone makes fun of you...Tell them Rod stewart has a layout, he really does...see December 07 Model railroader. I have a couple other hobbies so as long as you can distract them with those your fine. Like me it is cars, and Guitar(not so much a hobbie as a life style). I have my computer area dedicated to teh late great pennsy. Other people as i have seen have it dedicate to halo, or something like that. Today's trends will disapear, Railroading will go on forever

Good job....I know quite a few people who would do that....i would do somethin I don't have the authority to do.
when i went up in oct 2007 the gates were closed...It was between 7:00-8:00
I wonder if Amtrak will start to have Mail cars on the back of their trains. Or material handeling cars again?
I caught my first rarity today on the horshoe curve camera....A SANTA FE unit..did not see the numbers nor could i tell the model, I only know it has been in pennsylvania all over.

Like i said before...I am 16, and Model the Pennsylvania RR in the 1940-1950's. I have a layout but it is too small to run some of my equipment. So i go to my club with 30 scale miles of track...which takes 20 minutes to get around. It has a heilix also and a Huge yard..and it is 2 levels, on dcc, so i can run my sound Loco.
I would go back to the 1930's to visit Horseshoe curve..and to see True pennsy power pulling trains around that magnificent stretch of rail. Then on to the 1980's to get pictures of Prr K4 1361 In steam...then Finally into the future......also investing in wallmart and Microsoft...and To see the next 20 world series (get the world series referance)
