I doubt it's doable from a liability standpoint. Since power would be such a large problem, why not batteries in all those cars you are going to be pulling? Some electrical guru ought to get several hundred or so of those A or C batteries to run an engine consist for 20 or 30 minutes. I like the idea of putting a setup in a school gym or old warehouse for people to visit some summer.
Don't have enough binders yet (hint hint) so plan on putting multiple early yrs in a big binder. Wonder if there is a better alternative to coat hanger wire. thanks doc steve
Friends, I have a building with several lights in it. (3 GOW and 2 LED all on one power feed with resistors as needed) Is there a way to turn the lights on to the whole building, say 1-2 min every 10 min or so. Is this what a capacitor does? thanks doc steve

Ask your family doc's nurse for some plastic "transport tubes". Cut the bottom off and paint black or whatever. They look great! I didn't have to ask but I'll tell my nurse to give some to anyone who does. Might meet some MRs that I didn't know. doc steve
Didn't see anyone mention a timer. I've left my soldering iron on too many times unknowingly. I put in a timer on the outlet strip on my workbench and I don't have to worry anymore at 2am if I unplugged the iron! doc steve
