I've been reading these forums for years as a "lurker" but one statement here has prompted me to post for the first time. Are we all so insecure in our hobby that they only way to elevate our own Modeling egos is to bring down others? The above quote, IMO, is just not really a big problem in model railroading from what I have seen and read and experienced. It is, however, an almost perfect description of amateur radio.
