I want to reletter an LGB Mogul tender from Lake George & Boulder to D&RGW is there any easy way to remove the lettering or am I going to be stuck painting over it? If thats the case does anyone know kind of paint to get to match LGB's D&RGW "Grande Gold"
This car started out as a Bachmann D&RGW gondola, I never liked it much and liked it even less after I cut the sides & ends down converting it into a flatcar. Infact I dislike the car so much the only time it gets run is when my nephew comes over and wants a flatcar for his consist... Here is what it looked like.... Im not sure if I repainted & lettered the car because I felt sorry for it or I wanted some pratice for when I get around to doing those 6500 flats from USA flats but here
Oh yeah I picked 1826 as the number because thats the only wood flatcar I have pictures of. Its at the Valmont display site of the Boulder County Railway Historical Socity near Boulder Colorado, I visit there when i visit my mom In Boulder every month or so
Thanks for posting that! I remember when I first saw it as a kid in the 80's
[quote user="Shu"] Well, here is what I did and it seems to work pretty good. I downloaded a program from the web, actually several until I picked one final program. The program will allow you to connect multiple web cams that can be purchased from $20 bucks on up. I have a computer in my covered train shop and it runs this program when I am not at home. I work for a fire department so when I am at work, it is for 24 or 48 hours at a time. Now, when the software is running, you can set
I work Security, the site I work at had the old VCR setup you change out daily when I started here back in 01 now its all digital for every VCR we had we now have these computers dedicated to the various CCTV systems that record everything digitaly and let you go back and view footage from a few months back. Also you want a camera setup that only records motion! http://vicon-cctv.com/ we get most of our stuff from these guys
