I just did some wiring this weekend and installed my first model power two-light signal. When I went to turn it on the red and green signals are on together, when I slide the switch the red is on and the green is off. The switch has a right, left and middle position. Shouldn't the signal go just green and just red and be able to be both turned off? Did I wire it wrong? Any suggestions would be welcomed thanks Andy

I have a digitrax DCC system and use the N scale manual switches with the plastic frogs. My longer engines have no problems but my shorter ones stall on the switches. How do you fix this? Thanks DT
I am using Atlas switches and everytime a loco crosses over they stall/short. Is there a way to fix this without a lot of work? Thanks DT

Hello, its finally gotten busy on the layout. I am creating a park/playground on my layout and I am trying to create a convincing Park Sign. Like the ones that have yellow lettering on a wooden/brown piece of wood. what is the correct size for letters in nscale? What do you recommend to use? If anyone has done this please share a picture. Hi, I am trying to decide how to design my streets and sidewalks. Does anybody have any tips/pics of a good process of modeling sidewalks? I would like to use the Woodland Scenics products. I have noticed in a lot of layouts that the buildings look like they "sit" higher up then the ground/curb How is that done too? Thanks Art

I am using plywood, mine is a "cooke cutter" type layout
